‘Monte das Servas Rosé Escolha 2010’: a good companion for summer

With the arrival of warmth and anticipating the next season, Herdade das Servas offers a fresh wine with good acidity and good fruit, light and easy to consume ‘Monte das Servas Rosé Escolha 2010’without doubt a good summer companion, made from the blend of the two most important grape varieties worldwide, Syrah and Touriga Nacional.

Rosé ‘Monte das Servas Escolha 2010’ presents itself with a vivid pink colour, flavour and sweetness of red fruits, dominated raspberry, strawberry and cherry notes. This wine is fresh and fruity in an elegant combination and well balanced, ideal for salads, seafood and grilled fish with light sauces, at a temperature of 8-10 ºC. Whit 13 degrees of alcohol content should be consumed while young, this year or the next.
 
Before reaching the consumer table, ‘Monte das Servas Rosé Escolha 2010’ goes through a rigorous process of harvesting and winemaking. After the usual green pruning and thinning of the bunches during the period of development and maturity, the grapes are harvested manually and transported to the winery Herdade das Servas in small boxes (from 14 to 16 kg). Here are selected on the choice table and then stripped. After one day maceration, the juice is extracted tear for fermentation at low temperatures. ‘Monte das Servas Rosé Escolha 2010’ goes through a three-month internship in the bottle in the basement of the Farm.
