The year that now begins (2011) ia already providing to be positive , with 50% growing over the month of January last year. Herdade das Servas – project of Serrano Mira family, one of the oldest in wine production in Alentejo (dating 1667) – completes 15th February ( 2011), twelve years of activity. With a very positive balance, having produced about one million bottles and about 2,5 million Euros, what represents an increase of 20% compared with 2009. "It’s been 12 years of sustained growth, teamwork and whose balance sheet has been very positive, which we are proud enough." Says Luís Mira, owner, manager and director of the Wine Cellar - Herdade das Servas. "We want to do better, because excellence is part of our mission. We have outlined, first to be well in Alentejo,then to the rest of the country and foreign. Accordingly, this year we will invest in more concerted exportation and also on wine tourism, a objective from Herdade das Servas". He adds. Remember that the portfolio of Herdade das Servas consists in three brands: Vinha das Servas ( daily consumption), Monte das Servas (daily consumption for demanding consumer) and Herdade das Servas (for special moments of consumption). |
