Alentejo Regional Wine
Alicante Bouschet (40%), Touriga Nacional (30%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) and Trincadeira (15%).
After selection on the filtering table, the grapes are destalked before prefermentation maceration takes place. The fermentation is carried out in controlled temperature stainless steel vats and presses.
The wine is partially matured for 12 months in 2nd and 3rd year oak barrels. After bottling, the bottle rests for 2 months. To conserve its qualities this wine was not stabilised, and may create sediments naturally.
Clear, ruby-coloured wine, with mature black fruit, plum and cherry aroma, and floral, chocolate and spicy hints. A complex and well-structured wine with balanced tannins and a lasting finish.
This wine should be consumed in the next 7 years, if stored in a cool and dark place with the bottle lying down.
