CLASSIFICATION: Alentejo Regional Wine

HARVEST: 2014

GRAPE VARIETIES: Alicante Bouschet (40%), Touriga Nacional (30%), Cabernet Sauvignon (15%) and Trincadeira (15%).

WINEMAKING: After selection on the filtering table, the grapes are destalked before prefermentation maceration takes place. The fermentation is carried out in controlled temperature stainless steel vats and presses.

MATURING: The wine is partially matured for 12 months in 2nd and 3rd year oak barrels. After bottling, the bottle rests for 2 months. To conserve its qualities this wine was not stabilised, and may create sediments naturally.

TASTING NOTES: Clear, ruby-coloured wine, with mature black fruit, plum and cherry aroma, and floral, chocolate and spicy hints. A complex and well-structured wine with balanced tannins and a lasting finish.

LONGEVITY: This wine should be consumed in the next 7 years, if stored in a cool and dark place with the bottle lying down.

ALCOHOL: 15% vol.
